There is much MUCH more to be lost by undermining the #ruleoflaw or the trust therein. If you live in the USA, you will experience this soon enough.

First of all, diminishing all the judges in his own court cases, then calling the Jan 6. insurrectionists "hostages". His aim is to break down the rule of law, and it's authoritarian dictator 101.
