 So the way Loops works is when you upload a video, you get redirected to the main feed with a message saying the video is being processed. Well a few people have uploaded the same video multiple times, I think maybe because they are confused, so I will implement hashing and caching to prevent you from uploading the same file within 24 hours. 11 comments
@dansup Any plans on the ability to update usernames? I misspelled mine when I first signed up oops...  @dansup oh I'm guilty of doing that and I think it's because the pop up message was small and low on the screen, and disappeared before I could even read it. It was grey, too, which in my mind suggested an error message. I couldn't see anything like a square with some mention like "uploading", similar to when you upload to YouTube. That kind of confirmed my suspicions. After a while, I just figured I needed to reupload and that's only when I saw that the first video had been uploaded.  @dansup Hello! Thanks for creating Loops! I really like it! In the future, do you intend for Loops to be able to edit videos (be able to join different clips, add transitions, effects, text, etc.)? It happens that, in open source, there is no such video editor yet. It would be magnific!
