I’ve started building the FYP algorithm for @loops

Cleverly simple, and optimized for both small and large servers, it will usher in a new curated and algorithmic age in the fediverse!

While it may not be the first algorithmic feed, it will be the most powerful, and aims to provide a next level federated experience for newcomers and existing fediverse users alike.

@dansup How is the current feed actually put together? Are the users I follow taken into account, or is it a global feed?

@dansup @loops I generally prefer local content. Would be nice if that could play a role in this or another algorithm of loops. Kind of the Snapchat map idea. What’s happening around me in real time is my main question for social media many times.
