The Loops APK distributed via loopsusercontent.com are safe!
I've seen a few reports about it being flagged as malware, and it's a false positive.

Don't worry though, the source code will be published, and the app will be available on the Play Store/App Store + F-Droid.
The sideloadable APKs are only temporary!
And you can verify it is the same APK by checking the hash on https://loops.video/help-center/onboarding and comparing it with the virustotal page,
or by downloading the APK and running `shasum -a 256 v1.0.0.7-0152a7fe-4b84-4b1a-bac0-6fc54a71aafa.apk`
