Gregory's Server@eclectech I love the contrast of the dark sky and the bright metal here. You've got me wondering if I can make a detour to see them on my planned trip to Orkney next year.

@eclectech @sheepnik They light up at night 😊 We went around 4 I think on a winter's day and it was magical. The tour wasn't bad either @Walkaholic @sheepnik Lovely. I've only seen them from the road at night. Really should try and visit properly in the dark. |
@sheepnik It was definitely the day to photograph them.
If you're traveling by car it wouldn't be ridiculous. They are very close to the M9 (you can see their heads peering over as you drive past). The Falkirk Wheel is nearby too, and that's also quite cool.
