On being in love with data

I despise that philistinism of people of today who pretend to be “in love with data” or the like. Introducing emotions into data handling ensures bias of an emotioning individuum, that is sanctimonious enough to exaggerate everything he or she touches. This is just hypocrisy that has nothing to do with the actual ability to manipulate with data and to interpret them correctly. Period.
