@GoldenStar as you seem to have completely missed numerous announcements from all sides that k-9 mail client is to become the official android thunderbird, i think you don't need to worry, this is something that only affects the k-9 users.

@GoldenStar mind, i did not expect somen with an account located at floss dot social to be unaware of the thunderbird mail client, but i guess i'm just too old.
