 @lefteristrip23 @pixelfed Yes, that is the goal long term! Performance will become increasingly important, not to mention the various features we have planned that require native code. Are you asking because you're a kotlin dev, bcuz if so, I'd love to have more hands on deck!! @dansup @pixelfed there hasn't been a new GitHub release since July 1. I think you often forget about every federated server that doesn't use your specific workflow. Some? Many? Of us don't run the bleeding edge of a random dev-branch commit. Some? Many? of us use docker and or helm to run the many complicated dependencies. Even if pixelfed.social doesn't do this, you're leaving the rest of your federated servers in a lunch by subpar admin support |
