 They're ephemeral. By this afternoon, one had been dismembered by squirrels. And taking a picture of its remains, I'm noticing even more detail that she put into them. The red boots made of leaves! I was resigned to letting nature take its course, but when my husband got home, he brought the survivors in to keep them safe overnight. I guess we'll rearrange them each morning. |
