Creating legal documents like Privacy Policies and Terms of Service is so complicated now, but I think that's a good thing as more regions codify privacy into law.

I'm currently drafting these legal docs for Loops, and it feels good to state we aren't using Google Analytics or user tracking, aren't selling data to 3rd parties and don't include 3rd party ads.

@dansup did any of these things cross your mind before the month long countdown ended or

dansup

@h They did, I did announce I was only going to ship an Android APK, but due to the demand, I am expediting the mobile app release through the iOS and Play Store.

I understand how upset you may be with how this played out, and I am sorry for that, but I think a few more days is worth it when you consider we can onboard iOS users too.

It will be worth the wait.

@dansup as an ios user, yeah, that is the minimum

dansup

@h Yeah I agree, and the thing about Apple is they are strict when it comes to inclusion into their App Store (or even TestFlight)

We need:

- A valid privacy policy
- Support email
- Implement a block feature
- Allow users to delete their account via the app (since we don't have a webUI)

These reasons are why it's been delayed, but I promise you, in a week from now, you'll forget all about this and rock your ultra rare single character username as your browsing Loops.

@dansup i understand, iโ€™ve been on teams that have had to deal with testflight, itโ€™s not easy

@dansup @h I am very happy that so many users have signed up already and that you are working hard to release the app to everyone. Can we still expect an Android APK in the next few hours as you announced it yesterday ("Android APK will be shared in the next 24 hours")? Thanks for your amazing work!

What are olfactory recordings/data???

Have we perfected the science of smell to a degree we can capture it and convert it to data??

Privacy Policy Sensory Data Have you collected audio, visual, thermal, electronic, or olfactory recordings/data in the last 12 months? This i information that is recorded or detected by the senses, such as a recording of a person's conversation, or temperature detected by a thermal camera. Yes No

@dansup Yup (tho "perfected" might be too much... for now).

Keyword seems to be electro-olfactogram (EOG).

@dansup Copyright notices, OTOH, are dead easy - just nick someone else's.
