So #Telegram has started a bot providing transparency reports for 2024. https://t.me/transparency
The issue is that it is only providing transparency data in the country your account is registered (as far as I can tell, based on the phone number). I have started to aggregate data from multiple countries : https://github.com/Te-k/telegram-transparency/tree/main
Now I need you Mastodon: if your country is not listed there and you have a Telegram account, could you please request this data and share a screenshot with me? Retoots are welcome

Already one interesting thing from the data: Telegram accepted requests of data on 632 users from French authorities in Q3 2024, versus 17 and 37 in Q1 and Q2. Clearly arresting and charging Pavel Durov has been a big change for the French police
