@farbel @pfefferle To each their own, but after comparing @wordpressdotcom plans to less expensive rivals (yes, even #WPEngine—before the crazy drama), I realized that I am paying for 24/7 customer service, world class security & unrestricted bandwidth (no limitation on site visitors). Latter is key in case a major #Threads or #Flipboard account links to your blog! 😆

It is also a way to give back to the #WordPress community by supporting a creator’s platform.
