  @mntmn Let me know when you start selling prototypes. Maybe this time I'll manage to be the first to run Gentoo on one of these things :D  Yeah, you're doing gentoo and I'm doing void (and eventually hopefully openbsd) and we'll show up at Revision next year and ... we really need a demo for it (Since, you know, I'm obviously preordering one despite my not NEEDING one, and having these things that I don't have time for... or well I have to fix that and...) @mntmn So cute! Love the ortho keyboard, form factor, the color. The white Choc switches though? Not exactly inconspicuous on the train/bus/etc. Hot swap, or will I have to start desoldering? Dammit I do NOT need another of these things that I will wish to use and not have enough time to mess with When are preorders Because we both know I'm preordering anyway  @mntmn i love the color, btw why is the screen part so thicc? What needs to fit there? @mntmn have you evaluated touchscreen options? I don't want to miss my touchscreens. Especially if they are so close to the keyboard!  @mntmn I don't think I see this on the KiCAD render you put in the blog post so I'll remark here: it would be extremely helpful for repairability purposes to put the USB-C ports (and especially the one that is power delivery) on a daughterboard or some other easily replaceable medium we could buy spares of Source for my feedback: my phone currently only **barely** grips a charging cable because I got stuff jammed deep into the port, and it's not feasible to source replacement USB-C ports for it @mntmn BUT that's shadowing the bigger comment of the day which should be: congrats on bringing this idea to the masses! It'll be awesome to see it come to live! |
