@bragefuglseth honestly, I'm not a fan of cluttering the about dialog with ads I didn't ask for. This should be a GNOME Software thing to do. Maybe a simple "More apps from … [^]" button can be enough?

@mks_h Oh come on, this can hardly be called "cluttering" 😄 For apps that implement it, it's mostly going to be 1-3 new rows located at the *bottom* of the about window. If people had to open Software just to see the available apps, I assume a lot less people would bother, even if one of the apps could be of great use to them. |
@mks_h @bragefuglseth I don't consider these as ads, it just shows other apps made by the same dev, which is a nice thing, you discover new apps by doing this.
Then this thing has always existed but in other forms, both in open source and freeware software.
