@organicmaps thanks a lot for your response, I love it on the desktop. OFC ui could be better but the core features just work and this is great. It would be amazing to have some better UI for sure. But my question was if the tracking becomes available on the desktop?

@organicmaps using a laptop, no phone, so I use it to navigate in the classical way. Know more people that do it like this, someone uses it on a Steamdeck. More private when no WiFi and Bluetooth used, and also just a way more engaging way to travel. But sometimes gps would be handy.

Would the flatpak work with USB GPS?

@fredy_pferdi there is a QT location module, it may work with an external GPS devices.
