Gregory's Server@robpike What does it mean that alumni of Bell Labs can't understand their own phones? I have begun to think that "tech" is just another form of "elder abuse."

@bks @robpike and I kind of hate that some people will blindly follow Apple saying it's the only well designed tech out here, whereas there are many counter example of it being very poorly designed: the mouse you can't use while charging. Still don't know what's the benefit of this design? UX is so important, and it needs to be well thought in every part of your system. Which is a tremendous work, but I believe it pays dividends! |
@bks "Tech" is a form of elder abuse. Try to explain to my elderly parents how to use a modern "smartphone". Bonus points for explaining how to use it safely.
