A fediverse web browser would be cool
Or a fediverse team building a Chrome/FF successor
BlueSky and Nostr are neat and have a lot of users, but the fediverse is where you'd expect this from
I'm so tired of Chrome 😅

I agree but a vast project surely and one demanding never-ending input? Is webkit a better jumping off point than chromium at this point? @dansup I'd be happy with a 3rd browser option that isn't Chromium based. Until then I'll stick with FF. @dansup I've been an enthusiastic #firefox user since it was first released. Great browser but I am also not impressed with the sidebar projects the #distracted #Mozilla has taken, i.e. Pocket. I avoid #chrome and #chromium due to Google's infestation. They don't inspire confidence when it comes to privacy. I'd love to see a FF-compatible browser that is truly private and secure. I also use text browsers like #w3m and #elinks. |
@dansup Building a web engine is a huge job these days.
