Condescension was intended.
Vivaldi is just a Chromium fork. Which is maintained by Google.
You support Google when you use Chromium forks the same way you support Mozilla when you use Firefox or Gecko forks.
Since the W3 standard is so complex, you have to support one of them for the time being, as there are no other major web browser engines.
