@mozilla this is such a bummer. I thought Mozilla's experiments with the social web were truly some of the most exciting (and sustainable) things Mozilla has worked on in years. Really sad that it's getting shut down so early.

@Blisterexe @mozilla I was assuming they'd continue to have a presence on the fediverse, but the part I was referring to is on running their instance and encouraging users to sign up there https://blog.mozilla.org/en/mozilla/mozilla-launch-fediverse-instance-social-media-alternative/ @docpop @Blisterexe @mozilla Some team-specific accounts have moved to other instances but I wouldn't hold my breath on the main account to be very active in the future. @docpop @Blisterexe @mozilla the most worrying aspect for me is that Firefox never used Mastodon, they post on threads, but they do not use the Fediverse integration. |
@docpop @mozilla their accounts are still going to be on mastodon, just on mastodon.social
