@mozilla come on guys, it's just a bog-standard mastodon instance. it costs you pennies to run and gives a clear official channel for mozilla communications in the fediverse. surely you can stand to spend a few dollars of the hundreds of millions you get from google for search to keep it open?

@mozilla i want to love you guys but i can't help but recognize that the money side of things is preventing the mozilla foundation from living up to its own goals of defending user privacy and supporting the open web. do better.
