Gregory's ServerFollowing the groupchat we started there, I've been working on a little project for the last month or so, that I'm pretty excited about! It's a tool that will be hopefully helpful for psychotherapists working in the Internal Family Systems modality, and their clients. My primary customer is my wife, and her classmates from the IFS training, it will be interesting to see what I can learn from building and trying to launch this thing!

The way I've been able to follow through on this project was to get pretty strict with my routine. I get up at 4:30 on most days including weekends, and get a couple of hours of focus time (if I'm lucky!) until my daughter is up and the day begins. I've been really enjoying the quiet mornings writing code. |
I've been building this in Clojure, which has been a great learning experience and very rewarding so far. Though I'm going slower than with my usual tooling of Ruby/Rails, the confidence boost from getting competent with a very different dev toolkit has been very good for me.
