I was going to support "desktop streaming" that would allow you to use OBS for :pixelfed: Live.

However Owncast does desktop streaming really well, and after using our new live streaming app I believe we're better off focusing on mobile streaming and empowering more intimate experiences via this ephemeral medium between creators and their audiences. #pixelfedLive #pixeldev

@dansup I don't know how far you are with #Pixelfed livestreaming, but maybe a real tight cross-app integration with #Owncast might be an interesting route to explore, where both benefit.

In Owncast there could be feature, like snapshot this frame to my Pixeled collection.

@dansup mobile focus makes the most sense in many ways, just because of how media is even eaten up now-a-days. But even id love desktop streaming, since gigs could be broadcast easier etc.
But really having mobile is better & in more ways much more accessible, since more people own a reasonable phone to just watch streams. Plus at least having focus on 1 thing first is better & getting it correct rather than 2 things which could affect each other & make development longer
