@paulrickards if it's an early model XO-1, it will self-brick if the internal battery dies and clock gets reset. it is unbrickable, but requires eeprom reprogramming via serial cable https://wiki.laptop.org/go/Fix_Clock thankfully, that's all avoidable with a firmware update! just update to the latest firmware if you haven't already, and the bug gets fixed @vga256 Ahhh I see! It did complain about the system clock being wrong but it still booted. Maybe it's been fixed already. @vga256 @paulrickards I've got three that work, they're so much fun for my tiny relatives |
