@paulrickards if it's an early model XO-1, it will self-brick if the internal battery dies and clock gets reset. it is unbrickable, but requires eeprom reprogramming via serial cable

thankfully, that's all avoidable with a firmware update! just update to the latest firmware if you haven't already, and the bug gets fixed
@vga256 Ahhh I see! It did complain about the system clock being wrong but it still booted. Maybe it's been fixed already.
