@billbennett I love commuting between Palmy and Welly on the Capital Connection. 2hrs each way.

Cafe car means I have coffee w/ toast for breaky & a Pinot Gris to wind down at end of day. Comfy seats, table, & power.

So much better than the 1hr each way cramped bus ride from Karori to CBD I used to suffer before moving.

@billbennett I either read or just relax. Evening trips during spring/autumn are fantastic because of the sunset while passing Kapiti.

I never sleep while travelling. Not even long haul international flights.

@puck @billbennett It's a fantastic service. I just wish they also did a bidirectional run during the middle of the day (planned upgrade coming sometime "soon") for when you only need half a day.
