Gregory's Server@neauoire I wonder how hard it would be to just keep a local source repo, that you can rebuild as needed with your preferred configuration.

 @neauoire Ah, well. Now I'm sort of curious, so have just kicked off snarfing a copy of the repo. (Step 2 of this, in case anyone else wants to play along. https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/setup/linux_build.html) I think the thing I am most curious about is how easy (or not) it is to build a copy without some controversial feature. E.g. leaving everything else alone, just not build whatever functionality is seen as most obnoxious. |
@tim_lavoie I never managed to actually build firefox, I tried a few times but it takes so long, I usually give up before it finishes.
