I'd never used a belt drive player personally, so I had to google this right now 😅

If anyone else is wondering: Instead of changing the speed of the motor, (at least on some) you gotta manually “change gear” by moving the belt to a bigger pulley. This page has a nice illustration: https://uturnaudio.com/pages/installing-your-belt
