@Gargron I own many vinyl LP's and only one is 45 RPM. It was odd for me when I had to switch the band also. @Gargron @dimillian yeah, higher fidelity. You can actually get reissues of great albums on 45 - more discs, better sound quality @Gargron Aha, thanks! I'd never used a belt drive player personally, so I had to google this right now 😅 If anyone else is wondering: Instead of changing the speed of the motor, (at least on some) you gotta manually “change gear” by moving the belt to a bigger pulley. @Gargron Ive got quite alot of albums on 45rpm. Also have some that are 33 on one side 45 on the other. I went with having a psu that switches the speed for the rega p6 instead of having to move the band
