@thunderbird Would be useful for deGoogled phones, if the new Version keeps being available via @fdroidorg . Same for folks who do not want any apps from the Google store.
And please let it be usable for tablets too.

Why would Fdroid remove it? And even if they do Thunderbird can make a fdroid repo for it. Either way I agree. I'm not going to make a google account just so I can use Thunderbird Android. (I know Aurora Store exists, but frankly I haven't had a reason to use it since if it's a proprietary service, I'll use it on a browser on my laptop).
