Glad to see the great job @openstreetmap and @organicmaps are doing. For cycling to the zoo's main entrance, where I can buy entry, they suggest a sensible route. #Google maps seems to suggest I go through the zoo, possibly via the tiger cage.

@hl since I've started using Organic Maps, I have done a lot of comparisons with Google Maps and it most cases both choose the same route. Now, there's evidence that our beloved #foss is even better. An opportunity to point out that the power of these maps (..and app) lies in our hands - the users. There's no automatic, endless data harvesting here. So, don't forget to add/remove/edit places whenever you can. @hl @openstreetmap @organicmaps Also somehow ZOO looks more like a ZOO. Here I needed a while to understand what is that place. Only after reading the labels I understood it is the center of Warsaw, a place that should be one of the most recognizable places in Poland. |
@hl the funny thing is many people complain that Organic Maps' bicycle routing leaves a lot to be desired 😅
