@shlewislee we recommend using Obtainium and our GitHub releases directly. They are available immediately, there are beta/preview builds, and they have optional Google location services (you can turn them off in settings) to help get your location faster: github.com/organicmaps/organic

@shlewislee fdroid builds do not work with Android Auto and detect location slower without Google location services. And require downloading world maps first (bad first-time UX).
