I'd say you aren't. (Though I enjoy learning correct pronunciations of everyone's names.) @Gargron I met a guy with the same name a number of years back and he pronounced his name, phonetically speaking, Oygain. I'd recognize that as a Germanic pronunciation. Agree with others that this is pretty typical for an European, especially if you or someone in your social circle works with international people |
