The problem is: we now know that this tactic wasn't enough to actually solve the problem.

I think maybe I'd rather not take all my advice on this issue from well-to-do entertainers, given that they enjoy a level of protection that most of us never have, and never will.

When society is laughing at them instead of acting like they have any kind of serious platform they aren’t so proud to be bigots.

Speaking proud bigots, I haven’t seen or heard much of those proud boys since their training video got leaked and all of the world was laughing at them. Are they embarrassed or did they all overdose or go to jail by now? The ones we have in New Hampshire out by Keene are big fans of fentanyl and meth so I’m not sure they’re even still alive anymore.

@pete @AlgoCompSynth The Little Tramp was Chaplain's silent character back in the teens and twenties. He was always in relationship with much more powerful people than he was who were usually depicted as fools and childish.

Yes, I know about Charlie Chaplin. I didn't understand what you meant by "Plus". Did you mean the part about about Jewish people making the evil look like fools by playing them? I didn't get the connection to Chaplin's Little Tramp who was neither evil, nor Jewish.

@pete @AlgoCompSynth The plus Little Tramp part is not specifically about Jewish humor, but about how Chaplain designed the character, in part, to be a foil for rich and powerful people who acted idiotically.
