 Yes, I know about Charlie Chaplin. I didn't understand what you meant by "Plus". Did you mean the part about about Jewish people making the evil look like fools by playing them? I didn't get the connection to Chaplin's Little Tramp who was neither evil, nor Jewish. @pete @AlgoCompSynth The plus Little Tramp part is not specifically about Jewish humor, but about how Chaplain designed the character, in part, to be a foil for rich and powerful people who acted idiotically. |
@pete @AlgoCompSynth The Little Tramp was Chaplain's silent character back in the teens and twenties. He was always in relationship with much more powerful people than he was who were usually depicted as fools and childish.
