@homelessjun @cvvhrn @bojacobs Lebeau, Burkhalter and Schultz actors were all Jewish. I love that show. robert clary, who played corporal LeBeau, was an amazingly kind person. i've heard the same about john banner (sergeant schutlz) and werner klemperer (colonel kilnk), who was also a classical violinist in real life.  @homelessjun @cvvhrn @bojacobs yes thank you! i’ve been casually wondering how hogan’s heroes ever got made.  |

there were a lot of jews playing nazi officers, etc., in hogan's heroes. the opportunity to make fools of nazis must have been most delicious.
