robert clary, who played corporal LeBeau, was an amazingly kind person. i've heard the same about john banner (sergeant schutlz) and werner klemperer (colonel kilnk), who was also a classical violinist in real life.  @homelessjun @cvvhrn @bojacobs yes thank you! i’ve been casually wondering how hogan’s heroes ever got made. |
