№3. One of my realtors rejected working for me from now on. He got tired of me wanting a good choice for a small price, and rejecting everything he sent me.
Also, I avoid so many scams! Why are there so many?..

@bouncepaw they are called viewings and yeah, you need to respond very fast. if you are able, having a scraper might be good @wffl I have some telegram bot working its best for me. The response speed bottleneck is not in me, it's in the realtors and the landlords... №5. Looked at a flat in this house. Far from metro, but good neighbourhood. Inside is simply horrible, unlivable, even humiliating. They want money for that?? That much money? Incredible! №6. Looked at a flat in a house with the literally perfect location. The price is average (which is high). Metro is seen from the window. Would've rented it, but, well, the interior is not welcoming, don't like it. I think I can afford being capricious for a week or two more, I guess. №7. Did you know that landlords hate men, especially single, especially young? Why can't I just pay you money, have you seen my bank account? :moomin_angry: №8. Just so you know, I'm making tens of phone calls a day. I would make hundreds if there were enough numbers to call. I don't remember how many realtors have my numbers. I don't remember how many times I've introduced myself. Half of Kazan knows I'm a programmer in a bank, a student and looking for a cozy place. If only I had lower standards of living... I could just settle on a bad flat. But I don't think I should. It's bad for health. №9. Paying more and going to the realtor's office (I didn't know it was an option) solved the problem. I now how a place to live yayy. Washing machine in the kitchen is ridiculous, though. Ridiculous. Whatever, the place is good. A couple of friends are living nearby, had a quick meet with them too! Will report more later. Sleeping in the dorm tonight though. @bouncepaw congratulations on finding a good place! Is the washing machine ridiculous because it doesn't 'belong' in the kitchen? I can imagine that happening because of the water connection. In any case it'll be much better than having no wash machine, or having to install your own in some of the remaining free space :) Share pics when you have them? @flaneur for those stumbling upon this toot later. I did in fact show Flaneur the flat on video. I don't think I'm gonna share the pics here though. The washing machine does not belong there, yeah. @creitve some commons schemes: 1. Post a fake flat which is very appealing. Good loc, good price, good furniture, etc. Receive many calls, don't answer them, collect a base of clients looking for a flat. Call them. 2. Take money for something, do not do that something. For example, receive payment for reservation and disappear. 3. Offer flats without having legal rights to do so. They all take your money and time. |
№4. The friend refuses to rent now, because of family reasons. It's their right, but I don't like losing my firm backup option.
Also, saw a couple of good flats rented before I got a chance to look at them! How come some people are so fast at booking the viewings (is that what's it called?).
OK, I got you. I'm raising my price range by 5 kilorubles.
