The alt-reich has intentionally weaponized "masculinity" to draw young men into their conspiracy carnival. Some groups are more overtly sexist than others. For example the Proud Boys describe themselves as "western chauvanists". They have used this tactic since GamerGate (a sort of prelude to PizzaGate and QAnon). This also has to do with the overturning of Roe as the patriarchal "conservatives" believe in the mysoginistic tropes that a woman should be her husbands servant and stay home to raise children.
This then feeds the "strongman" appeal because people can be duped into believing that fat old guys are "strong" because they are pathological liars that refuse to admit to even simple mistakes. This infatuation with propaganda and the infallabilty of "dear leader" can be seen in efforts like taking a sharpie to a weather forecast map to try and make sure "dear leader" doesn't look like the idiot that he is. #TrumPutin have benefitted for years
