I love how “Wi-Fi” is just a branding exercise with no actual meaning, they just wanted it to sound like the word “Hi-Fi”.

Wi-Fi doesn’t stand for “wireless fidelity”. That term doesn’t mean anything. It just is “Wi-Fi”.
