@thomholwerda that is only a temporary solution. The long term solution is:
1. Uninstall Firefox
2. Download & install Mull or Fennec F-Droid
3. ?
4. Profit

i gave this exact same advice to how to deactivate it on the desktop but instead recommending Librewolf
