@pojntfx My first thought was that it has moved from mimicking App Storeβs badge to mimicking Google Playβs instead π @bragefuglseth but what exactly is the improvement? @Nickname Well, at least I subjectively think it looks better π It mimicks Google Playβs badge FWIW, and I donβt think that one is too bad either. But regardless of that, the new one is what apps will adapt going forward, so for the sake of consistency everyone is better off rolling with the shiny new thing β¨ @Nickname One additional practical advantage with the new badge is that the letter kerning of Β«Get it onΒ» is lower, so there is in fact a lot more space for localized variants to use as well. @Nickname @bragefuglseth my first question was... ok, so who designed the new one? Edit: followed by what did the guy who designed the first one do? (; self-edification for the win? @bragefuglseth Razze (@razze) deserves all the credit for the tedious hard work of localization and ease of use / api. As always, I only did the initial kick off. |
