I don't want to be a spoilsport, but do you think the app is ready for a public version?

It's currently in beta status, so a lot can be forgiven. A public version then has to compete with other alternatives, and then things can quickly become scorched earth, and it takes a long time to repair a bad reputation.

I am using Google Beta 1.0.0.50. This is currently what is offered to me in the beta test in the Play Store.

@dansup I just installed the app from F-droid, but I unable to login to pixelfed.social. It says that the instance is running an outdated version of Pixelfed.

It says that minimum version is v0.11.5 and the instance is running v0.12.3.

@dansup @pixelfed haven't been following the changes but what should we expect in this release on Android? I got logged out of my account and dark mode is removed plus can't add a secondary account.
