@grishka oh wow, I initially looked through screenshot and though that it was a button to add media, but noticed it's just a hint after your reply.
Can absolutely vouch, this should be an Add media button or it shouldn't be there at all. Given that Pixelfed is a media-focused app though I would expect it to be a large add media button, instead of small 🖼️ and 📷 buttons.
Braw :blob_cat_melt: 🏳🌈, I mean, if you're copying Instagram, copy their post creation flow as much as you can. It's one part that is really polished, because it's "it must work outstandingly well or we go out of business" situation. Start with having the user select the media attachment(s) and then ask to add a description, geo tag, specify visibility, etc
