@mcc good thing I'm not JS dev and can rely on automatic semicolon insertion when I forget one, almost every other language including CSS doesn't work properly when it's not there @forrestbrazeal |
@xgebi @forrestbrazeal the python senior devs don't need semicolons, unfortunately all the python senior devs in the world have been holed up in a conference room since last September trying to figure out why something called "Poetry" is printing a error message
If a JavaScript dev thinks JS doesn't require semicolons, they're probably not a senior dev! The real senior devs have all encountered situations where lack of semicolon can cause bugs due to ambiguity in the ECMA grammar
