I really appreciate all the kind words of support, sometimes it feels like I only see negative feedback and while I usually take that in good stride and strive to resolve the underlying issues...

I am only human, and sometimes that negative feedback stings more than usual

Rather than letting it get to my head, publicly acknowledging this, and my struggles, are my therapy

Your encouragement means the world to me and keeps me motivated!

fwiw, I greatly admire the work you do on Pixelfed, Loops and the Fediverse as a whole. Your apps look great, and are really setting the bar for other app devs.

The negative feedback folks should shift their modus operandi to a) contribute, b) make their own damn software or c) shut the hell up if they can't be arsed to at least give constructive feedback.

When I think of the gargantuan budgets and large teams employed by Big Tech... who rarely ship product updates or create derivative things... in contrast to you making @pixelfed @loops and @cheeaun making @phanpy – I'm just filled with so much admiration and inspiration.

Hey @dansup, what you are creating with @pixelfed, and now with @loops is absolutely awesome. The backend, the frontend, the mobile app, all of it. Taking on giants like Meta and ByteDance is no small feat.
