It's wild that you can just do anything. Date the wrong person, choose the wrong career. You can go outside and start eating dirt if you want, and the universe lets you. Not even a pop up like "Are you sure?"

still can't work out who i am

@cmconseils let alone an option to remember the last choices you made so you don't keep doing stupid stuff

@cmconseils Save Game / Load Game would be cool. Ctrl-Alt-Del a bit scary, especially for remaining family...

Der Werkself

@cmconseils even no f***ing manual that one could read.

@cmconseils
Maybe nobody has found the really bad choices yet.

Or there's a survivorship bias: once you see the popup, it's already too late.

The things the universe won't let you do seem harmless by comparison: remember birthdays and anniversaries; sleep through the night; play a musical instrument when someone you want to impress is in the room. I mean, how bad could it be?

@cmconseils True to a point, but don't try to get women's health care in a red state.

@cmconseils I do think spitting up the dirt is an "Are you sure?" prompt :)

@cmconseils sure wish I had that reality check in 1986. Would’ve saved years of heart break!

@cmconseils but once you try to go faster than light, it's all like "No. Not that. Don't do that."

tsk

@cmconseils Wouldn't the 'popup' be one's instincts or culture? Those are attributes of the universe (though not always good).

@cmconseils and there's not even an ad that says "people who ate dirt also dated the wrong people and ruined their planet's climate. Would you like to try that?"
