Maybe a tower, maybe a city, a gigantic monument to the glory of stairs, a temple to their sheer magnificence, a place to worship the divine geometry of an infinite stairway. And this is where the slow drift into confusion and insanity truly begins, because January 32nd doesn't exist, and neither does February 32nd. Having levels numbered as dates was effortless, and possibly my only grip left on reality. This could explain why ethereal spheres are now invading an otherwise perfectly empty space.
