But yes and no; the bigger limitation is built in 1 Gbps networking, but you can get USB 3.0 2.5G adapters, but then you're right at the same cost as CM3588, which is faster still.

2.5G isn't enough for a good SSD too 😔
But if it has spare PCI-e lanes, it could be possible to use something like Intel X520 card 🤔
