I told a certain person off not because I want to somehow condone @dettlaff's clearly idiotic behaviour. This also had nothing to do with Russia or nazis or ableism apologists or whatever else of sort. It was because I have zero tolerance threshold for bullying and petty blackmail, especially from people I thought I'm on the same team with. I'm taking no such shit, whoever you are. 34 comments

@lonelyowl Whether intended or not, what he did was repeatedly denying what a person was saying, which amounted to pushing a conversation that goes nowhere onto a mentally unstable person, instead of just finishing it before it got out of hand. This is wrong, and @dettlaff should feel ashamed.

@lonelyowl This is not a thing that matters. Pushing an unwarranted conversation on a mentally unstable person is wrong, however you cut it. And by the way, they were absolutely right about Nazi dogwhistles, which there were.

Interesting way of thinking 🤔 I'm also pretty much mentally unstable, though i'm usually take my own responsibility to get out of any chat or conversation that makes me feel like a shit.

@lonelyowl Of course, your experience is universal and can be applied to everybody on the planet. Not. Mental illness comes in all shapes and colours. Not everybody can control themselves at all times. You need to understand that in order to be a halfway decent human being.

Not like i don't agree with the statement that trolling mentally unstable weirdos is bad even if they say act silly. You're just the first person i've ever heard say that. Most people don't care about that, even "the decent human beings". They act the way they wish anyway, and i'm used to it, it is something i expect from everyone 🤔

1. vision of truth is personal for everyone. (edit) 2. If you truly want someone to accept your point of view, rather than publicly denying it to save face, public criticism is not a good option. What is your goal? If it's to publicly scold, then it's fine. But if it's to suggest an alternative opinion and make the person think, then it's a poor choice. This is a certain base of the correct dialogue. If you want, I can bring links to sources

@drq буду рад если у тебя есть доступ к удаленным сообщениям, и ты сможешь скинуть их мне в лс в матриксе. я перечитаю их посмотрю что стало тригером. те сообщения я писал на скорую руку через переводчик, там мог быть неккоректный перевод, или оскорбительный подтекст.

довольно не конструктивно, могу тоже прислать ссылки на пару видосов * не правды, плохо перевел имел в виду: понимание правильности -- свое у каждого. из этого выходит что правду зачастую, каждый нахождит свою, и кто-то ошибается.
