@ErikvanStraten I think it would be wrong to define antisemitism simply as an action against Jewish people, even anti-Zionism and even “criticism” of the Israeli state can be masked antisemitism. This is a tricky topic often leftout and forgotten by many of the pro-Palestinian left.
This is why I am in favor of the Jerusalem Definition of Antisemitism
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerusalem_Declaration_on_Antisemitism
It's very academic and nuanced, but I think that's exactly what we need for today to allow legitimate criticism of both Zionism and Israel whilst still recognizing pundits annexing such debate in order to insert antisemitic rhetoric.
@ErikUden : thanks for your response!
In fact I was just reading https://jerusalemdeclaration.org/ based on what you wrote, but IMHO it is a too long text for most people to grasp, with the risk of making it ambguous (even if in fact it is not - but I've not read all of it, and will do that at least twice).
The world would benefit from a short definition that cannot be misinterpreted, including by "non-PhD's" with litmited time and who hate reading long texts.
